Look how many times we practiced the event at your Uncle Roy’s place in Indiana. I say we enter and do it again. You have to admit this is a fast way to make the money we need.”
Wendy Carrington was quiet for several seconds remembering the many times she’d ridden her horse around strategically placed barrels in the fenced in corral back in Indiana. Beth’s idea kept running through her head at lightning speed. Beth could have something since we need the money in a hurry. How else can we make wages like they do at the rodeos? But the downside is we have to win to make the money.
“Well, what do you think?” Beth’s animated features filled Wendy’s line of vision.
“I suppose it’s worth a try,” Wendy agreed, although a little reluctance filled her tone.
